Ok first I would like to say that the service and staff were great. Just based on the staff I hope this place gets it together. The food was another story. The food here is what I would call very Miami. I say that because it seems to be done with that quintessential "F*%# it" Miami attitude we have all grown accustomed to. I went in for their breakfast and had the eggs Benedict. First, the hollandaise sauce was awful. It was broken, had an off color, and had a sour taste. You would expect that someone who tasted sour sauce would say "hey we can't serve that" but no it's Miami so "f*%# it" give it to them just like that. Next, the Canadian bacon was not Canadian bacon it was just some thin deli ham. Next they toss some super bitter greens under the sauce with tomato, not sure why I guess that makes it healthy or something. And then the "coup de grà ce" to finish me off, the poached eggs are really just hard boiled eggs, hard as a rock: "hey I think u over cooked that egg" yea but "f*%# it" just give it to them anyways. If anyone thinks I'm just one of those over demanding dbag yelpers just look at my previous reviews I have only given 1 star on one other occasion. However, in this instance it was warranted because that was by far the worse eggs Benedict I have ever had. Maybe they just had a bad day or something, but the food I got shouldn't have been served. Other people seem to really like this place and maybe their experience was better than mine, but based on the food I received this is my honest opinion.

The place has great service ! Nice people! However the menu items need a lot of work . I tried two of their popular breakfast dishes portobello delight and a sample of the eggs Benedict. The portobello delight was barely edible, the mushroom was sour, egg whites had no taste. I thought the mushroom was going to be cooked with the eggs which would have improved the flavor, but it's basically bland egg whites on a cap of mushroom. The eggs Benedict don't have real Canadian bacon , it's deli ham at its best (or a severely thin slice of Canadian bacon) they added greens to the eggs Benedict which butchered the flavor. The sauce , not buttery, at all . The place is so nice and so are the people, but I hope this honest review improves the food .

Visited this morning, wanted to try something different, so I decided to drive to Miami Springs. I had a Groupon. I ordered the Treats Miami, which was 2 eggs, grits, toast. I ordered an extra side of pancakes. My son ordered pancakes that came with hash brown and bacon. Tasted the bacon, it was tasty and crispy. The grits had a funny taste, even though cheese was on top. I ordered my eggs over medium and the yolk was completely cooked. Didn't send it back, because that is something I do not do. When it came to the pancakes, it was very delicious, it didn't have that commercialized taste. The ambiance was kind of cool, I decided to eat in, since it was getting hot. They also offer lunch, dinner and brunch on the weekends. I'll be back for some pancakes.

Came here for breakfast on a Sunday morning and was thrilled with the service and food. I didn't know they had started opening for breakfast, but now that I do, I think our family will be regulars. Very reasonable prices and phenomenal food. If you're looking for an excellent bite to eat in a quaint and cozy atmosphere, look no further! I tried the eggs Benedict and grits, others in my family had the Sammy plate, the springs sandwich, and the montecristo. Everything was tasty and well cooked.

The service and accommodations that Treats Cafe provides is the best. They have great food overall. My favorite is their breakfast menu. It has a large variety as well as "light side " menu which is out of this world. My biggest addiction from there is their yogurt from the machine. Great varieties and non fattening. All the employees starting with Damian the owner are always pleased to help you. If you haven't tried it it should be a priority on your list!

Excellent little place in Miami Springs with great breakfast food and generous portions to boot. Brunch for three: $36 with tip. Friendly attentive service helps. Definitely a new go-to place as Cozy Corner is so disappointing.

Most of the time my only delivery options are greasy and horrible for me. This restaurant not only delivers, it has a healthy menu. Not healthy in a tasteless way either! I be tried their meatloaf sandwich (yum), their dolphin pasta salad (omg so much yum) and their chicken strips (kids yum).

I absolutely love this place, so much so that we eat there at least twice a week. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. I highly recommend you order the daily special when you do go because i find it to be a culinary delight! I also want to mention that the staff is amazing! The waitresses are friendly, polite and attentive. Give this little gem a try and you will be so pleasantly surprised! It might just become one of your favorites too!

I used to really enjoy this restaurant. Food is pretty decent, obviously depends on what you order. I was disappointed to find out that a long time employee is no longer working there. I personally thought she was a great server, and it truly saddens me, as this was a job that she loved and put her heart into. No offense to the other servers of course.

My office just moved to Hialeah and I've been struggling to find anything to eat other than fast food and cuban food. Randomly found this place on a search and I am so glad I did. The roast beef croissant was great. The croissant was fresh and buttery, the bacon was crispy, and the tomatos were ripe. The presentation- even in a to go box was a nice touch. The food was ready fast. I will definitely be making this a lunch destination.

If you're looking for a quick hot meal for lunch with true diner hospitality this is the place. Generous portions, basic diner (not cafe) fair. Hubs got the meatloaf sandwich and fries with a French onion soup to start and I ordered the Springs sandwich (turkey, ham, bacon and cheese) with a side of tomato. I had a hard time finishing my sandwich which was served warm and toasty and pretty big. Hubs had to wrap up his sandwich to go because he got full just off the soup. (We're light eaters except when it comes to pizza). The hubs plans to go back just for their french onion (super cheesy) soup. Didn't order dessert even though the cookies on the counter were tempting but we were just too full. The bill came out to about $20 with a sandwich that hubs ended up eating for dinner so it was definitely a great value. Service is quick and friendly and food is consistent and pretty good (in a basic sense). This place isn't trying to be anything more than what it is which is a quick, hot food, lunch diner and they do a good job at it. Note: CASH ONLY but there is an ATM inside. Also offer outdoor seating.

It's worth a try. I had a greek salad; however, it was overloaded w/cheese and a bit soggy. I do have to admit that I loved their chicken fingers. They were freshly made & had the right amount of breading for the perfect crunchy bite. The seasoning made these chicken fingers incredibly tasty. I will go back to try something different. The place is really clean and the waitress was very attentive. I also noticed they had freshly baked deserts. My next sweet tooth craving will give their deserts a try.

In the land of rice and beans Treats is a welcome...well, TREAT! I have lunch here about twice a week. The service is fast ,extremely friendly, and the food is darn tasty. My favorite items tend to be the specials and even certain soups that I tend to not like are still above average (if only they had cream of cauliflower and beef barley more often, hint, hint...oh, and lose the brocolli cheddar, yuck). The prices are very fair for lunch. Also important to remember is that they are cash only (they do have an ATM) and they don't deliver. ...oh yeah, the giant chocolate chip cookies rock!

What? You've never been to Treats? Well then, you're in for a treat! /snicker I've been here quite a few times and I can't say I've ever been disappointed. This is one of those places that little old biddies come to for lunch at 11 am. The only thing is, they don't serve little old biddie portions. I had the French Dip sandwich with sauteed onions and bell peppers with mushrooms and shoe string fries on the side. Oh man, that sammich just melted in my mouth with that wonderful provolone cheese and the Au Jus sauce. What a wonderfully coalesced pieces of food, all in one sandwich. It was the best French Dip I've had in such a long time. You know that face you give when you have something most pleasing in your mouth? Closed eyes, eyebrows in a relaxed yet satisfied position and a mouth full of amazing food. Yep, that's the face you give after you've had a food-gasm. The sandwich was enormous too. ;) They also have an amazing french onion soup. They have a rather large menu and it's on the cheap too. I paid around 8 bucks with a fountain coke. The lady who assisted me was as sweet as apple pie too. What a darling! I sat outside on the side walk and with in a minute she gave me a menu and took my drink order. This is probably why I love Miami Springs. Everything here has an "old fashion service" feel to it. Very friendly, kind and inviting. I'm really surprised no one has reviewed this place yet. By the way, they don't accept plastic, but they have an ATM with a small fee inside the cafe.
